You’ll certainly have no trouble finding outdoor activities around Lancaster County, but there are also several festivals and seasonal events to explore. Starting on first Saturday in June is the annual Lancaster VegFest which is a two-day focus on everything vegan from food to clothes to advocacy.

Lancaster County is home to many quilt shops featuring beautiful, hand-sewn quilts. And if you’re quilter yourself, you can find several quilting and fabric shops carrying everything you need. Hometowne Quilt Auction 339 East Main Street, New Holland, PA; 3 minute drive or 16 minute walk The quilt auction is held six Tuesdays each year at the Garden Spot Firehouse in New Holland.
